I am now a year-3 undergraduate student in Tsinghua University, majoring in Electrical Engineering. I spend the whole summer of 2015 in the Laboratory for Embedded and Programmable Systems (LEPS) in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, UC Davis. Together with some graduate and Ph.D students, we are making the automatic detection and collection of fruits happen. For my part, I am now working on a time-of-flight 3D Vision System, called real.iZ VS-1000, to capture both range and intensity registered images, make the locations of the fruit appear in high contrast, and signal the dynamic movements in the scene.
